These Coach Terms apply in addition to the ASCENDIC Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By creating a coach profile, you agree to all three documents.
To create a coach profile on ASCENDIC, you must complete the application process, submit proof of relevant credentials, pass identity verification, and agree to these Coach Terms. ASCENDIC reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion.
Coach profiles are activated only after credential verification is complete (typically within 5–10 business days of submitting all required documents).

When a client books a session through ASCENDIC, they pay the full session price displayed on your profile. ASCENDIC deducts its 12.5% platform fee and transfers the remaining 87.5% to your registered Stripe account within 7 business days of the completed session.
Example: Session price €200 → ASCENDIC fee €25 → You receive €175.
To receive payouts, you must: connect a valid Stripe account; complete Stripe's identity verification; maintain a verified bank account in an eligible country. Stripe's terms and fees apply to your account independently.
If a client cancels with more than 24 hours notice, the session is refunded in full and no commission is charged. If a client cancels within 24 hours, you may retain up to 50% of the session fee as a cancellation charge (you set this policy in your profile). No-shows result in full session fee retention for you. ASCENDIC's commission on refunded sessions is also refunded.
| Tier | Price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Coach profile, booking calendar, session tracking, client notes, Stripe payouts |
| Professional | €29/month | Everything in Basic + priority placement in search results, advanced analytics, custom booking page, email reminders for clients |
| Premium | €79/month | Everything in Professional + featured placement, marketing support, early access to new features, dedicated onboarding support, ability to host group programmes |
Subscriptions are month-to-month with no lock-in. Cancel anytime in your dashboard. Commission rates are identical across all subscription tiers.
Premium and Professional subscribers may create and sell online courses on the ASCENDIC platform. Revenue share: 80% to you, 20% to ASCENDIC.
Your ASCENDIC calendar is your commitment. Confirmed bookings are binding. Coach-initiated cancellations within 24 hours of a session may negatively affect your profile rating and search visibility. Repeated late cancellations (3 or more in a 30-day period) may result in account review. You must keep your availability calendar up to date to avoid booking conflicts.
As a coach operating through ASCENDIC, you process personal data about your clients. Under GDPR, you are an independent data controller for the personal data you collect and process in your coaching practice, separate from ASCENDIC's role as data controller for Platform data.
Coaching often involves sensitive personal information — health, mental wellbeing, relationships, financial matters. This constitutes "special category" data under GDPR (Article 9). Process such data only with explicit client consent and handle with heightened care.
Retain client session notes only for as long as necessary for your professional practice and applicable professional body requirements. ASCENDIC recommends a maximum of 2 years post-coaching relationship for session notes unless professional obligations require otherwise.
Session notes stored within the ASCENDIC platform are subject to ASCENDIC's Privacy Policy and security controls. You should not store highly sensitive clinical information (e.g. mental health diagnoses, medical information) in ASCENDIC's general notes field — use appropriate secure clinical record systems for such data.
All information shared by clients within coaching sessions and through the Platform is strictly confidential. You must not disclose client identities, session content, or personal details to any third party without explicit written client consent, except where legally required (e.g. mandatory reporting obligations, court order, imminent risk of harm to client or others). Professional exceptions apply in accordance with your credential-granting body's ethical guidelines.
Your coaching methodologies, session materials, and course content are your intellectual property. ASCENDIC does not claim ownership of your content. By publishing on the Platform, you grant ASCENDIC the rights necessary to display and deliver your content to users as described in Section 5.
For clients you first connect with through ASCENDIC, you must not solicit or accept payment outside the Platform for a period of 12 months from the first session date. This protects the marketplace model that makes ASCENDIC viable and fair for all coaches. Violation of this clause is grounds for immediate account termination and may result in a claim for damages equivalent to ASCENDIC's lost commission.
ASCENDIC may suspend or remove your account for: lapsed or fraudulent credentials; breach of these Coach Terms; client complaints indicating serious misconduct; repeated late cancellations; GDPR violations; off-platform transaction violations; any conduct that brings ASCENDIC into disrepute. You will be notified of suspension reasons and given the opportunity to respond before permanent removal, except in cases of serious misconduct or legal risk.
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of ASCENDIC. You are responsible for your own insurance, professional indemnity coverage, tax filings, and compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
You are solely responsible for declaring and paying all taxes applicable to income received through ASCENDIC, including income tax, VAT (if applicable), and any other local taxes. ASCENDIC provides payment records through your dashboard for accounting purposes but does not provide tax advice or withhold taxes on your behalf. ASCENDIC recommends consulting a local accountant or tax advisor regarding your obligations.
