For Clients

You complete a short intake questionnaire — takes under 2 minutes. You tell us your coaching goal, preferred coaching style (directive vs. reflective), how often you want to meet, your budget, language preference, and availability. Our AI engine then scores all active coaches across these 6 dimensions and presents your top 3–5 matches ranked by compatibility score. The whole process takes under 60 seconds from intake to your match list.
Every coach on ASCENDIC is manually vetted before their profile goes live. We verify their credentials with the issuing body — ICF certifications, professional licences, psychotherapy registrations, nutrition certifications, and so on. Verified coaches display a "Verified" badge. We also require ongoing credential maintenance — if a credential lapses, the coach's profile is suspended until it's renewed.
Session prices are set by individual coaches and displayed transparently on their profiles. Sessions typically range from €80 to €350 per session, depending on the coach's experience, credentials, and specialisation. There is no hidden platform fee for clients — you pay the price shown. ASCENDIC's commission comes from the coach's side of the transaction.
Yes, absolutely. If your first session doesn't feel like the right fit, you can return to your match list and book with another coach. You can also re-run the intake process at any time to get a fresh set of matches. Good matching takes iteration — we make it easy to adjust.
Your ASCENDIC AI Advisor is available between sessions. You can ask it questions, review your progress, prepare for your next session, or get on-demand guidance. Session notes (shared by your coach) are also accessible in your dashboard. Over time, the AI Advisor learns your coaching context and becomes increasingly personalised.
Yes. What you discuss in sessions is confidential. Coaches are bound by professional confidentiality obligations and ASCENDIC's Coach Terms. ASCENDIC staff do not access session content. Session notes are only visible to you and your coach.
Yes. ASCENDIC hosts online courses and group programmes created by coaches on the platform. These are available separately from 1:1 sessions. You can enrol in self-paced courses, live cohort programmes, or workshops — all in the same platform where you access your coaching sessions. Course pricing is set by coaches individually.
ASCENDIC is available on web (any modern browser) and as a native app for iOS and Android (launching with the MVP). Coaching sessions are conducted via the built-in video tool or via your preferred video platform (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet — your choice with your coach).

For Coaches

Click "Join as a Coach" on the homepage and complete the application form. You'll need to provide your professional credentials, a brief bio, your areas of specialisation, your session pricing, and proof of your credential(s). We review applications within 5–10 business days. Once approved, your profile goes live and you can start receiving bookings immediately.
You keep 87.5% of every session. ASCENDIC takes a 12.5% platform commission. This is deducted automatically and the remaining amount is paid to your Stripe account within 7 business days of the session being completed. Example: a €200 session → you receive €175.
No. The Basic tier is completely free — you get a profile, booking calendar, session tracking, and Stripe payouts at no cost. Paid subscriptions (Professional: €29/mo, Premium: €79/mo) give you enhanced visibility, analytics, and additional features. Commission rates are the same regardless of subscription tier.
Yes, Professional and Premium subscribers can create and sell courses on ASCENDIC. You keep 80% of course revenue, ASCENDIC takes 20%. You set your own pricing. You retain full ownership of your content. You can also sell your courses on other platforms simultaneously — there's no exclusivity requirement.
Your profile is surfaced to clients through our AI matching engine — no paid advertising needed. Clients who match your specialisation, style, and availability will see you in their top results. Professional and Premium subscribers receive priority placement in search results. Positive reviews and completed sessions also improve your visibility over time.
ASCENDIC replaces multiple tools with one: booking calendar, automated payment processing, client history, session notes, basic reporting and analytics, and (for course creators) a course hosting and delivery system. No more Calendly + Stripe + Notion + Zoom juggling.
Yes. You can specify the languages you coach in on your profile. Clients filter matches by language. ASCENDIC's platform supports English and Croatian at launch, with additional language interfaces planned for Phase 2 expansion.
As an independent professional, you are a data controller for the personal data you collect from clients. You must handle client data with confidentiality, only use it for coaching purposes, and delete it upon request. Full details in the Coach Terms — GDPR section and our Privacy Policy.

Platform & AI

The matching engine processes your intake data across 6 dimensions: coaching goal category, preferred coaching style (directive vs. reflective), session frequency, budget range, language, and availability. Each dimension is weighted and all active coaches are scored against your profile. The system is trained on ICF competency frameworks and improves continuously through post-session outcome data. The result: your top 3–5 most compatible coaches, ranked by score, in under 60 seconds.
The AI Advisor is a personalised AI assistant that supports your coaching journey between sessions. It can help you clarify goals, prepare for sessions, track progress, and get on-demand guidance based on your coaching context. It is not a substitute for professional coaching, therapy, or medical advice. It's a support tool. All AI Advisor processing requires your explicit consent and can be disabled at any time in your settings.
No. The AI provides suggestions and support — all final decisions (choosing a coach, booking sessions, setting goals) are made by you. ASCENDIC's AI is designed to assist and augment human coaching, not replace it. Your coach remains the expert in your development journey.
Yes. The ASCENDIC platform is available in both English and Croatian. Switch between languages using the language toggle in the navigation bar or in your account settings. The Croatian version is fully supported from launch.
The ASCENDIC iOS and Android app launches alongside the platform MVP. You'll be able to find coaches, book sessions, access the AI Advisor, and follow online courses — all from your phone. Sign up to be notified when the app launches by joining our waitlist via the contact form.

Payments

Payment is integrated directly into the booking flow. When you confirm your session, you pay securely via Stripe — credit card, debit card, or other methods Stripe supports in your region. You receive a booking confirmation and receipt by email immediately.
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant (the highest security standard for payment processors). ASCENDIC never stores your full card details on our servers. Your payment data goes directly to Stripe's secure infrastructure.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the session for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% (set by the individual coach — check their profile). No-shows are non-refundable. If there is a technical issue on the Platform's side that prevents a session, you'll receive a full refund regardless of notice.
All courses include a minimum 14-day refund window for students who have accessed less than 20% of the course content. After this window or threshold, refunds are at the coach's discretion. Each course listing displays its specific refund policy.
Coaches receive 87.5% of the session value within 7 business days of the session being completed and confirmed. Course revenue is paid monthly on the same schedule. Payments go directly to the coach's connected Stripe account.
No. The price shown on a coach's profile is what you pay. ASCENDIC does not add a platform fee on top for clients. Our commission is paid from the coach's side. Some payment methods may incur standard Stripe processing fees depending on your country and payment method — these are displayed at checkout if applicable.

Enterprise

Enterprise contracts give HR teams a central dashboard to manage coaching programmes across the organisation. This includes: bulk coach matching for employees, programme management and scheduling, ROI measurement and outcome reporting, governance and compliance features, GDPR-compliant data handling, and a dedicated account manager. Enterprise is a Phase 3 feature — contact us to join the early access list.

Enterprise launches in Phase 3 of our roadmap (Month 18+). However, we are already having conversations with enterprise pilot partners. If you're an HR team interested in early access, reach out and we'll put you on our pilot list.
Yes. Individual session content and coaching conversations are strictly confidential — your employer only sees aggregate, anonymised utilisation data (e.g. how many sessions were used, general satisfaction scores). No individual session content or personal coaching discussions are ever shared with employers. This confidentiality is fundamental to effective coaching.

Privacy & GDPR

Yes. ASCENDIC is designed to be fully GDPR compliant. We are the data controller for Platform data. We process personal data only on valid legal bases (contract performance, legitimate interest, or explicit consent). We maintain data processing agreements with all third-party processors. Yes. Email petra.mesarichorvat@ascendic.ai with a deletion request. We will delete your personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g. transaction records must be kept for 7 years for tax purposes under EU law).
Yes. Under GDPR Article 15, you have the right to a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Email us at petra.mesarichorvat@ascendic.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
No. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data is shared only with service providers necessary for platform operation (Stripe for payments, hosting providers) and with coaches/clients for the purpose of delivering the coaching service.
The AI Advisor only processes your data with your explicit consent, which you give when you first activate the feature. You can withdraw consent at any time in your account settings, which stops the AI Advisor from using your data going forward. Aggregated, anonymised insights may be used to improve the AI system — raw personal data is never used to train models without separate, explicit consent.
Your data is primarily stored within the European Economic Area. Where data is processed or stored outside the EEA (e.g. certain cloud infrastructure), we ensure EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are in place. We do not store data in countries without adequate data protection guarantees.
